About
Born in Kentucky and seasoned by spending her 20s in Los Angeles, Dean found her way to Chicago where she works as a stylist and designer. Dean previously operated design company South Social & Home, which gained a following and received accolades from Martha Stewart Weddings, Marie Claire, Daily Candy, and more.
Inspired by travel and decades past, Dean always aims to create interiors, experiences, and visual imagery that tells a story. By layering textures, eras, and mixing a high/low of materials, each environment comes to life with a unique personality that is specific to the client, brand, or product.
An obsessive collector, Dean maintains a prop library that grows with every trip to an international flea market, every drive through a small town, and every visit to a thrift shop or antique store. She will never say no to champagne, a photobooth, or an adventure of any kind.
